The joy of generosity

At House to House Church we practice generosity as a form of worship and a means to joy. Why joy? We believe it is more blessed to give than receive (Acts 20:35).  In fact, to live in the flow of receiving and then giving is the spiritual key to walking in the Spirit, who is the source of all joy! At House to House Church we don’t believe in giving out of pressure or obligation, but we do give because of relationship and in joy.  Yes, we believe in Jesus and what He is doing in our community so much that we sow into our church with joy! We want to be a part of where He is moving. Therefore, we seek to excel in this “grace” of giving just as the Apostle Paul says! “Since you excel in so many ways—in your faith, your gifted speakers, your knowledge, your enthusiasm, and your love from us—I want you to excel also in this gracious act of giving.” 2 Cor 8:7 Jesus let your abundance and joy flow to and through us!
