Our Pastors
John has a passion to release the body of Christ into its destiny. He ministers from a unique friendship with Jesus to equip others to cultivate a life of purity and single-hearted devotion to God — the only place from which true relational health with God and others can spring. It is his passion to deliver the body of Christ from every influence that does not come from the presence of Christ, and to raise up a people who walk in the will of God, empowered by the Spirit of God. John comes from a long line of Christian ministers, was educated in theology at Wheaton college, and has been ministering in various church contexts for the last 20 years. He regularly counsels, teaches, moves in prophecy, leads worship, and advises leaders in serving their communities. He is deeply committed to a form of leadership that serves in the humility and grace of Jesus. He believes simple attentiveness to the Holy Spirit and obedience to the Word of God— not religious performance or human sophistication — establishes the kingdom of God in power and brings lasting transformation to people’s lives. Along with overseeing House to House Church, John runs a discipleship ministry called Workers for Joy and is the founder and director of the School of Supernatural Identity.
Amy carries a deep love for the scriptures and a calling to raise up children into becoming both a grounded, and supernatural generation that walks by faith. Amy runs a children’s bible school during the week, as well as overseeing the children’s ministry at House to House. Her heart is to educated children in the truth about who God is for them, and what He requires from them. She longs to see a generation walking in the fullness of the Spirit of God, with His Word in their mouths, powerful to overcome evil with good. She recently published her first children’s book: The King’s Gift, A Story about Identity. Amy also lives from a deep internal barometer of holiness and a desire to release an “Amen” to what the angels are crying out in heaven: Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord God Almighty. From this heart she regularly operates in a gift of faith, and a gift of teaching, through a pure heart of worship. She was formally educated at Wheaton College, where she learned Hebrew and Greek and earned her masters in Biblical Exegesis.
John and Amy and their five children live outside of Portland, Oregon and host House to House Church in their home.
